THAILAND, ISLAND
KOH PHANGAN

Since 1994 I love to visit the island Koh
Phangan. At the southeast peninsula there is the place Had Rhin,
famous for its monthly fullmoonparties at Rhin Nok beach. Across
a small hill you reach the Leelabeach.

At the picture “flying past Had Rhin” you can see at the right
side the fullmoon beach and at the left, behind the light house
hill, the Leelabeach.

There is the beauty of the landscape, the atmosphere of
letting go, hang out, relaxing, the visitors from all over the
world, mostly backpackers, technofreaks, sunlovers, yogapeople,
spiritual people; the simpleness of the bungalows, the sweet
noise of the waving palmleaves, the music of small waves coming
and going, the miraculous sunsets.
At the westcoast, north of Thongsala a large Yoga
scene has settled down. The biggest center is the international
Agama Yoga School

at Ao wok Tum and Sri Thanu.
